As an interdisciplinary problem-solver, I combine strategy, empathy, and design skills with an intimate understanding of behaviour psychology to inspire user-focused designs that are useful, usable, and desirable.
I am passionate about design thinking and take a human-centred approach at every stage in the design process.

about me.
Thanks for stopping by! My name is Raymond Zheng-Wu and I’m a Toronto-based user experience designer who’s equally passionate about psychology, technology, and all things creative. My mission: to help organizations deliver incredible user experiences through meaningful products and services that make a difference in people’s lives.
I started designing at a young age. As a child, I illustrated, printed, and hand-bound little books that I had written. As a teenager in the late dot-com era, I began building websites for fun; like typical sites of the time, they were ugly and hardly user-friendly. I landed my first freelance graphic design gig 12 years ago when I began studying at the University of Toronto.
After earning a degree in psychology, I worked in human resources and recruitment for several years before deciding to fuse my passions for creative problem-solving, graphic design, technology, and human behaviour into a single role: user experience designer.
In my spare time, I’m a singer-songwriter, photographer/model, and dormant actor/filmmaker.
